SSParentAssess is meticulously crafted to cover all potential areas of risk, with a strong emphasis on the child’s experience. Our assessors use creative and empathetic approaches to help parents comprehend potential risks to themselves and their children. This approach promotes open communication, which is vital in fostering trust and cooperation between parents and assessors.Throughout the assessment process, we employ a user-friendly traffic light system that allows parents and assessors to communicate effectively. Parents can express their views, and the system helps assessors show parents how they are doing, providing valuable insights and enabling parents to focus on areas that may need improvement. One of the notable aspects of ParentAssess is its adaptability. We have successfully used this framework in Pre-Birth Assessments, allowing parents to continue with a full assessment after their baby is born. This approach is both time-saving and beneficial, as it enables us to consider how parents adapt to their new responsibilities and provide appropriate support.
We are deeply committed to respecting cultural diversity and value each parent’s individual culture and identity. ParentAssess reflects cultural diversity in an appropriate way, and our assessors are trained to listen carefully and ask relevant questions that take into account a parent’s cultural upbringing and experiences.Additionally, ParentAssess is designed to be suitable for parents with Autism or other additional needs.
